What is Graftless Aprroach?
The “GraftLess Approach for Implant-Supported Full Mouth Rehabilitation using Two-Piece Implants” is a technique used in advanced dental implantology for the rehabilitation of patients with missing teeth or severely compromised dentition. This approach aims to provide a fixed, functional, and aesthetically pleasing full arch restoration without the need for extensive bone grafting procedures.
Traditional implant-supported full mouth rehabilitation often requires bone grafting to augment the deficient jawbone. This process involves adding bone graft material to the jaw to create a stable foundation for implant placement. However, grafting procedures can be time-consuming, costly, and may have associated risks and complications.
The GraftLess approach utilizes two-piece dental implants that consist of a fixture and an abutment. These implants are designed to provide immediate stability and support for the final prosthesis, eliminating the need for extensive bone grafting. The procedure involves careful evaluation and planning, including the use of advanced imaging techniques such as cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), to assess the bone quality and quantity.
